3rd Semester Project

Niu’s Adventure was planned as a Third-Person Sandbox Platformer. It was a group project during the third semester.

Plot: The Player slips into the role of Niu a cartoony red panda character and his goal is to safe his village against the tunnel snakes.

What went well

  • We had a working asset pipeline.
  • A lot of new learning’s in the whole developing process.
  • Everyone was able to improve their personal hard- and soft-skills.
  • The vision was clear and simple. 

What went wrong

  • No overview of the project at all because of a missing management system (no scrum).
  • Lack of communication in the team because of too much home office.
  • Poor productivity because a lack of commitment.
  • Scope was too big.
