Lost Gold

4th Semester Project

Lost Gold is a mobile game intended primarily for children with dyscalculia. It was developed trough cooperation with three students of the Mediadesign Hochschule Berlin and the Legasthenie-Zentrum-Schöneberg. With that game the kids should playfully learn how to deal with quantities.

As Developer:

  • All the work done in the engine.

What went well

  • Open and factual communication in the team.
  • We had a lot of learning’s in the whole developing process.
  • Everyone was able to improve their personal hard- and soft-skills.

What went wrong

  • Game Design wasn’t finished at start of the production
  • Multiple changes in the game design costs much time
  • Too much spaghetti code (no software plan)
